Clarinet Choir
The YSU Clarinet Choir provides an opportunity for YSU clarinetists to experience a tradition of clarinet chamber music with origins in 19th century Belgium. They perform on a wide variety of clarinets ranging from contrabass clarinet to soprano clarinet. Members of the Clarinet Choir have had the opportunity to perform concertos, conduct rehearsals and concerts, and arrange and compose works to be performed by the ensemble. The YSU Clarinet Choir performs multiple times each year at events including the YSU Clarinet Festival, Carols and Cocoa Holiday Concert in Stambaugh Auditorium, and the Butler Institute of American Art Music at Noon.
