Dana School of Music

Founded in 1869

Founded in 1869 in Warren, Ohio by William Henry Dana, the Dana School of Music is one of only six music schools formed shortly after the civil war that remains in existence today.  Since its inception, Dana has maintained strong values in teaching the practical application of music and developing a comprehensive music curriculum based on artistic excellence.  We continue to evolve, addressing current needs of the industry while maintaining roots in the Mahoning Valley.
