In the Dana School of Music, you’ll earn an exceptional musical education with a tuition that’s among the most affordable in this region and state. In addition, the university offers outstanding scholarship, assistantship, and financial aid programs, with more than 90% of YSU students receiving some form of financial assistance. The YSU Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships can provide information about university merit- and need-based awards—including scholarships, assistantships, loans, grants, and work-study opportunities.
 

 

Estimate tuition costs

Several factors affect your tuition and fees. What level of student are you? Are you an Ohio resident or from another state or country? Do you live in university housing? In which academic program are you enrolled?

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships’ tuition estimator considers all of these factors and will estimate your tuition and fees for a given academic term.

Graduate student financial support

Many graduate students in the Dana School of Music receive financial support in the form of Assistantships and Fellowships, scholarships through Cliffe College and the College of Graduate Studies, or other awards. All support is contingent on your continuing to make adequate progress toward your degree.
