Brass Chamber Music
Brass Chamber Music offers students the opportunity to master brass techniques and perform in small ensembles.
Clarinet Choir
The YSU Clarinet Choir offers members the opportunity to experience a wide range of clarinets, multiple yearly performance opportunities, and the chance to arrange and compose works.
Flute Ensemble
The YSU Flute Ensemble performs diverse, exciting repertoire, including premieres by notable composers. Members develop ensemble skills, and perform at prestigious events, concerts, and venues throughout the year.
Horn Choir
The Dana Horn Choir performs classical and popular music with modern and historic instruments. Open to all horn players, it participates in events like Carols and Cocoa and YSU Horn Day.
Musical Theatre Pit Orchestra
The Dana School of Music's Musical Theatre Pit Orchestra provides live accompaniment for YSU's bi-annual theater productions. Open to students, the ensemble adapts in style and size, offering experience in diverse American musical theater repertoire.
Saxophone Quartet
The YSU Saxophone Quartets provide an opportunity to develop musicianship through intensive chamber music experiences. Members refine their foundational skills, strengthen their ensemble abilities, and perform in a variety of prestigious venues.
Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble
The YSU Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble performs original compositions, arrangements, and pop music from around the world. With performances on and off campus, it offers unique opportunities for musical exploration and creative collaboration.
