Marching Pride
YSU Marching Pride
The Youngstown State University “Marching Pride” serves as the musical representative of Youngstown State University and is one of the most visible organizations on campus. Performing at all home football games and select away games, the Marching Pride is a highly visible ambassador for the Dana School of Music, YSU Athletics, and Youngstown State University.
Membership is open to all students, regardless of academic major. We're thrilled that Marching Pride members are from nearly every major on campus.
AUDITIONS: No auditions are required for wind players and percussionists. Each spring, workshops and auditions are held for the color guard and twirlers.
In addition to a musical home, members make friends to last a lifetime. We invite you to join us for an amazing musical adventure!
Membership
Membership in the Marching Pride is open to ALL YSU students regardless of major. From engineering, finance, and business to nursing, psychology, and music majors, a musical home can be found for all Penguins! For specific questions and information, call 330.941.3635 or email bands@ysu.edu.
