The YSU Concert Band, directed by Dr. Kate Ferguson, consists of both music majors and non-music majors from across campus. This ensemble is dedicated to broadening the artistic level of its members while performing music of artistic, educational, and historical significance.

Members of this ensemble are exposed to a healthy balance of standard and contemporary repertoire. They rehearse two times each week and give two performances each semester at Stambaugh Auditorium.  
 


No audition is necessary to perform in this group.
