Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Music Education, Master of Music (M.M.) In Music Education (online program)
The following is audition information for entry into the Dana School of Music.
All applicants are automatically considered for a Dana Talent Scholarship and are not required to submit a separate scholarship application. If you choose to apply to the online M.M. in Music Education or the M.M. in Music Performance, your graduate audition for those graduate programs is also your audition for an assistantship. These include tuition remission and a stipend, and you will need to complete a separate application through the YSU Graduate College.
Undergraduate requirements
Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Music Education
Applicants should prepare the following audition repertoire requirements.
- Applicants should prepare an audition on their performance instrument or voice. For information about performance area audition requirements, visit the Auditions page and select your instrument area or voice.
Graduate applicants
Master of Music (M.M.) in Music Education (online program)
Applicants should submit a 2-3 page writing sample.
Examples include a paper from an undergraduate course, a research paper, or a description of goals and aspirations in the field of music education. Title: M.M.M.E. Application Writing Sample. Email to the Cliffe College Coordinator of Admissions and Recruitment.
