Which type of degree is right for you?
The Cliffe College of Creative Arts offers four types of undergraduate degrees and the Master of Music with multiple major areas. Each degree type has specific requirements that are outlined in YSU’s Course Catalog or the University Graduate College.
In addition, the College offers a range of minors that may be earned while you are pursuing your undergraduate degree.

The College offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in musical theatre, studio art, and theatre.
Admission to the Musical Theatre and Theatre tracks is by audition only.
Upon successful completion of Foundation coursework, all studio art and art education majors must complete a Foundation Portfolio Review. To continue in the Art program and before they may register for further studio art courses — students must pass the Foundation Portfolio Review.
The College offers the Bachelor of Science in Education in Art Education (PK to 12) Multi-Age License.

The B.S.E. leads to teaching licensure in the State of Ohio.
Minors
Minors focus on a specific skill set associated with one of our programs. They do not require the same amount of immersion or specialization as a major. The College offers 14 minors, all of which students from any major on campus may pursue.
