Which type of degree is right for you?
The Cliffe College of Creative Arts offers four types of undergraduate degrees and the Master of Music in several major areas. Each degree type has specific requirements that are outlined in YSU’s Course Catalog or the University Graduate College Catalog.
In addition, the College offers multiple minors or certificates that may be earned while you are pursuing your undergraduate degree.

The College offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre.
The College offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in musical theatre, studio art, and theatre.
Admission to the Musical Theatre and Theatre tracks is by audition only.
Upon successful completion of Foundation coursework, all studio art majors must complete a Foundation Portfolio Review. To continue in the Art program and before they may register for further studio art courses—students must pass the Foundation Portfolio Review.
Minors + Certificates
Adding a minor or certificate to your academic program is an excellent way to customize your degree plans and specialize in areas in which you're interested. Cliffe College offers nearly 20 minors and certificates from which you can choose from, and our flexible curricula make it possible for you to study what you love.
You might pursue a minor or certificate to explore a subject about which you're passionate or dive deeper into an area that will complement your major. Either way, a minor or certificate will help you build skills and prepare to achieve your life and career goals.
