Cost + Finances

Find out what your education will cost and what help is available to pay for it

In Cliffe College, you’ll study and work with our distinguished faculty of artists and scholars who are dedicated to imparting the vital skills that will empower you for success in your chosen area and prepare you for a productive career and meaningful life—wherever your pursuits and opportunities lead you.

How much will your education cost?

Several factors affect your tuition and fees. What level of student are you? Are you an Ohio resident or from another state or country? Do you live in university housing? In which academic program are you enrolled?

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships’ tuition estimator considers all of these factors and will estimate your tuition and fees for a given academic term.

The Office of the University Bursar has additional information about billing, policies, and procedures.

Undergraduate financial aid and scholarships

You have several options to pay for your YSU education, including scholarships, grants, work-study jobs, and loans.

Be sure to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which will determine how much aid you qualify to receive.

Graduate student financial support

Many graduate students in the College receive financial support in the form of Assistantships and Fellowships, scholarships through Cliffe College and College of Graduate Studies, or other awards. All support is contingent on your continuing to make adequate progress toward your degree.

For information about graduate student support in your department, contact the chair or director.
