Musical Theatre

Technique, talent, + transformation

Transform your passion for acting and singing into a career with our Musical Theatre major! This audition-based program is designed for students who want to perform professionally in musical theatre. Our curriculum offers a strong foundation in theatre while cultivating skills in singing, dancing, and acting—the three pillars of the discipline.

You'll benefit from hands-on, performance-based training and academic coursework in theatre history, design, and the liberal arts. This well-rounded approach encourages artistic growth, critical thinking, and versatility. You'll be prepared to engage with theatre from multiple perspectives and apply your knowledge both on stage and in the broader performing arts industry.

Musical theatre is one of the most demanding and competitive fields in the arts. Our students rise to the challenge, earning prestigious internships and invitations to top-tier workshops with organizations such as Netflix, the Open Jar Institute, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. They've earned recognition at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and participate in study abroad experiences, including performances at the renowned Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
