Advising + Student Success

Dedicated to Your Success

Schedule An Advisement Appointment

As a student in the Cliffe College of Creative Arts, you’ll work with your academic advisor to explore your interests, create a plan to achieve your academic and personal goals, and prepare for a successful future.

Academic advising at Cliffe College has been designed as an integrated teaching and learning process built upon an ongoing interactive partnership between students and their advisors.

We're here to guide you through the university while connecting you to the appropriate resources that help keep you on track along the way.

Our academic advisors support students with developing a balanced scholastic plan and provide guidance on academic policies and procedures and other resources available on campus that offer academic and personal support.

We are dedicated to your academic success and look forward to working with you to help make your goals a reality!

As you near the completion of your degree (i.e. completion of 100 semester hours for baccalaureate degree candidates), you must file a Request for Graduation Evaluation located in the Penguin Portal under the "Access My Student Information" tab. This will initiate a graduation evaluation of your transcript to determine your remaining degree requirements. Visit the CCCA Dean's office for more information or if you require assistance.

In order to actually graduate, an Application for Graduation must be filed with the Office of Student Accounts by the deadline indicated in the schedule of classes in the Important Dates section (usually within the first two weeks of the semester after which you plan to graduate). Students can file an Application for Graduation in the Penguin Portal under the "Student Records" tab.

It is your responsibility to make certain that all degree requirements are complete. See your advisor and the Undergraduate Bulletin for more information.
