Scholarships + Financial Aid

Scholarships + awards

Department of Art scholarships reward academic and artistic merit and reduce financial need for incoming students. They supplement other YSU scholarships and awards you receive, as well as any additional financial aid.

Scholarships for incoming students

To be eligible for a Department of Art scholarship, you must be admitted to YSU and list a degree in the Department of Art as your intended program of study.

To be considered for an incoming student scholarship, you must complete your scholarship application by February 7 at 5:00 PM.

College + departmental awards

To ensure that you include all required materials, please read through the scholarship information carefully. Our scholarships are competitive and require a portfolio submission with your application.

The deadline to apply for scholarships awarded through the Department of Art is February 7 at 5:00 PM annually.
