Judith Rae Solomon Gallery

The Judith Rae Solomon Gallery is an important exhibition space for the college, university, and community. Located on the second floor of Bliss Hall, which houses the Cliffe College of Creative Arts, the 1,500 square foot exhibition space ensures our continuing ability to provide students with a professional gallery experience.

The Solomon Gallery showcases student work through displays that change regularly and also features installations and talks by Department of Art faculty and guest artists.
 

 

Current and upcoming exhibitions

Exhibitions at the Solomon Gallery feature art from a variety of contemporary approaches and genres and can be traditional or experimental. All exhibitions are free and open to the public.  

The gallery is located on the second floor of Bliss Hall, 547 Wick Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44502. Gallery hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed Saturday and Sunday and major holidays).

Judith Rae Solomon

Youngstown native Judith Rae Solomon is a prominent architect and art enthusiast. As an architect, Judith has coordinated numerous architectural projects for several companies and has served locally on the advisory boards of numerous cultural organizations. The Judith Rae Solomon Gallery was dedicated in April 2014 and made possible by a generous gift from Judith’s brother, Martin Solomon, and his wife, Susan Solomon.

Programs in the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery highlight the diversity of creativity and practice in exhibitions by students and both established and emerging artists.
