Meet Our Staff

Museum Director

Claudia Berlinksi

Claudia Berlinski, a native of Buffalo, NY, earned her BFA in Printmaking from Buffalo State College before relocating to Ohio, where she received her MFA in Printmaking from The Ohio State University. She has been a faculty member in the Department of Art at Youngstown State University for over 20 years, currently teaching Senior Seminar, the capstone course for graduating BFA students. Throughout her tenure, she has also served as the Foundations Program Coordinator and Assistant to the Chair.

Berlinski exhibits her work both nationally and regionally, participates in print portfolio exchanges, and dedicates her time to curating and adjudicating group exhibitions. Her artwork is housed in numerous public and private collections across the country.

 

Assistant to the Director

Angela DeLucia

Angela DeLucia serves as the Assistant to the Director at the McDonough Museum of Art and works closely with the Director to ensure the smooth execution of exhibitions and events. She has taught Art History courses as Adjunct Faculty at Youngstown State University, covering subjects such as Italian Renaissance, Baroque, Survey of Art History, and Art Theory. Angela holds a Master's degree from Kent State University and completed a year of doctoral study at Indiana University, specializing in Italian Renaissance Sculpture. Her expertise and passion for art history contribute significantly to her role in the museum. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed to the museum's mission of promoting the arts and enriching the cultural life of the region.
