University Theatre professor to showcase costume designs at 2025 USITT Expo

Katherine Garlick, associate professor of costume design and technology and resident designer for YSU’s University Theatre (UT) program, has been selected to display her designs from UT’s production of “Antigone” at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology's (USITT) 2025 Annual Conference & Stage Expo.
The conference, a gathering for performing arts design and technology professionals, will take place Wednesday, March 5, to Saturday, March 8, in Columbus. Garlick’s work will be featured in the “Cover the Walls” exhibit, which highlights exemplary design work from industry leaders and educators across the country.
USITT serves as the leading professional organization for theatre designers, technicians, and production specialists, providing a platform for innovation, education, and collaboration. Garlick’s selection for the expo recognizes her exceptional contributions to costume design and her creative interpretation of “Antigone.”
