YSU Marching Pride announces fall semester schedule of events

The Youngstown State University Marching Pride has launched its fall semester event schedule, kicking off with “Meet the Pride” Friday, August 22, at 3:00 PM at Stambaugh Stadium.
Entry to this event is free and open to the public, with the Marching Pride performing a preview of this year’s halftime show for attendees.
On September 27, the Marching Pride will continue its semester as it takes the field during the Ice Castle Classic Band Show alongside several high school bands. Together, the ensembles will perform a variety of pieces. The evening will begin at 7:00 PM at Stambaugh Stadium.
Finally, the Pride will welcome back its Alumni Band for Homecoming weekend October 25. Alumni have been invited to march and perform with the Marching Pride during this weekend’s football game, beginning at 2:00 PM. The day will also feature a variety of activities, performances, and reconnecting with fellow alumni.
The Marching Pride also performs at each home YSU football game during halftime. Tickets for all athletic events can be purchased by visiting ysu.sports.com.
