YSU’s Department of Art will host Portfolio Day on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1-4 pm in Bliss Hall on the YSU Campus. This event provides high school students, transfer students, and aspiring artists with an opportunity for students to meet one-on-one with YSU faculty and to showcase their artwork and receive personalized feedback. Participants are encouraged to bring 5-10 pieces of their best and most recent work to share, including finished pieces, work in progress, and sketchbooks. Students must bring iPad/tablet if showing work digitally.

Participants and their families will have the opportunity to learn about different majors, student organizations, and scholarship opportunities, as well as tour the art facilities, where students create their work. Representatives from admissions, financial aid, and housing will be available to meet with families.

The event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.
