Yuahao Jiang to present for Beecher Art & Technology Lecture Series

Yuehao Jiang, a Chinese new media artist and educator, will present a free virtual lecture Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 6:00 PM. The lecture is part of the Beecher Art & Technology Lecture Series.
Jiang is based in Los Angeles. Born in the 1990s, her work examines the relationship between mass-produced commodities and digital data under the impact of consumerism.
Jiang’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Brand Library & Art Center (Los Angeles, 2020), B4BEL4B (Oakland, 2020), Guardian Art Center (Beijing, 2019), K Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul, 2018), Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria, 2017), and the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles, 2015).
She holds a Master of Fine Arts in design media arts from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has been teaching as a lecturer in UCLA’s design media arts program since 2019.
