MFA Student Inducted Into Honor Society

Venise Abell is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts. Her most recent accomplishment was being initiated, on March 27, 2019, into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.

Two works, “Orange is my color” and “Memories,” were selected through the Power of the Arts artist competition, Go Art, and were displayed on two WRTA buses during April and May. The work was also exhibited at the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County’s main branch on Wick Avenue.
