G+ID student putting skills to work

Graphic Design Student Working With Professor On International Conference Project

Mallory Goldner, a senior majoring in Graphic + Interactive Design, is planning to graduate in Fall, 2019. Over the summer, she worked on a project with Associate Professor Weiqing Ge, Department of Physical Therapy. Dr. Ge organized a summer conference that took place in China, titled “Symposium on the Culture of Disability,” and Mallory assisted him with the branding of the conference.

In addition to the previously mentioned project, Mallory has also been working with multiple real-life clients in her freelance work. She interned at Genesis Billboards as their Graphic Designer and served as the Graphic Designer for the Office of Community Engagements and Events, creating programs for creating programs for the Dana School of Music and University Theatre. Mallory is also the President of YSU’s Student Art Association.
