University Theatre student attends Open Jar Institute Summer Intensive

This summer, senior University Theatre student Jessica Hirsh attended the Open Jar Institute’s Summer Intensive Program held in New York City.

One of the premier Broadway actor training programs, the Summer Intensive welcomes select students based on submitted auditions. These students are then provided one-on-one training with some of Broadway’s biggest performers, directors, choreographers, agents, and casting directors. The week-long program consists of high intensity workshops in acting, singing, dance, and audition techniques. Plus, students are able to see three of the hottest shows on Broadway as part of their experience.
