Summer Festival of the Arts to return to Wean Park in July

Wean Park in downtown Youngstown will once again welcome art, culture, and music organizations to the area as it celebrates the 26th annual Summer Festival of the Arts.
"We are thrilled to once again host the Summer Festival of the Arts in Wean Park,” event organizer Katie Merrill said. “This event showcases the incredible talent of artists from across the region and provides an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the arts.”
Held Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28, the festival has become a staple in the Youngstown community, drawing in crowds from across the region to experience a diverse array of artistic expression. Between visual arts displays, culinary delights, and children’s entertainment and craft tents, the festival offers something for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to showcasing local talent, the festival will also feature food vendors and live performances by musicians and dancers.
Applications are now open for artists’ participation in this year’s festival and are welcomed from painters, photographers, jewelers, mixed-media artists, or creators of other fine art, and can be submitted through The Cultural Alliance’s website.
