McDonough Museum of Art concludes season with student exhibits

December 2, 2022

The McDonough Museum of Art will conclude its 2022 season with two student exhibits titled “Fall 2022 Graduating B.F.A. Exhibition” and “Arts of Death Poster Exhibition.” The exhibits feature the work of students enrolled in, or graduating from, classes in the YSU Department of Art.

The “Fall 2022 Graduating B.F.A. Exhibition” features the work of YSU art students who will be graduating in December. The “Arts of Death Poster Exhibition” features the work of students enrolled in associate professor of art Johnathan Farris’s Art History course. This course, nicknamed “Arts of Death,” engages students in the study of arts about one of the most profound aspects of life—its end.

The exhibits will be open to the public December 2 – 17, 2022, with an opening reception scheduled for December 2. The museum is open 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday – Saturday, and admission is free.
