New McDonough exhibits to feature graduate student work

The McDonough Museum of Art will feature the work of students graduating at the end of the spring 2021 semester with M.F.A. and B.F.A. degrees in new exhibitions beginning Friday, April 23, through Saturday, May 8.

The exhibits will celebrate the work of 18 students receiving bachelor’s degrees in the areas of digital media, photography, graphic and interactive design, and interdisciplinary studio art. Student participants will include Siobhan Bacha, Amanda Bendel, Naomi Carrier, Michael DeMarco, Megan Gray, Alexis Herrick, Bailey Hill, Cassandra Holsopple, Mohammad Imashat, Anissa Kalbasky, Andrea Minotti, Lani Ngo, Yesenia Pezel, Donato Salisbury, Christina Simmons, Isabella Starkey, Hope Sudol, and Chelsea Woodman.

Also in the exhibit is work by three students graduating with master’s degrees in interdisciplinary visual arts, including Karen Fisher, “Success is Not a Coincidence”; Chanda Weigel, “Abracadabra”; and Evie Zimmer, “Glimpse.”

The museum is open 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. The exhibits are free and open to the public. Face coverings are required.
