Guest Artist Chanda Weigel to Exhibit at Solomon Gallery

YSU’s Department of Art will welcome guest artist Chanda Weigel to campus as she exhibits “All My Dreaming” at the Judith Rae Solomon Gallery beginning Tuesday, August 25, through Saturday, October 3.
A mixed media artist, Weigel works with oils, acrylic, wood clay, textiles, and other materials to tell stories about the figures in her pieces.
Weigel holds a studio space at Redfishbowl in Pittsburgh, PA. She lives in Beaver, where she is inspired by the natural wooded setting that surrounds her. She earned an M.F.A. in interdisciplinary art from YSU and has been teaching art at public schools for over 25 years. Outside of her art practice, Weigel loves spending time with her family.
Entry to this exhibit is free and open to the public. The Judith Rae Solomon Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Parking is available at the Wick Avenue Deck (M30) for a $5 fee payable in cash only.
