Department of Art students to showcase original artwork in Student Holiday Art Show

YSU’s Department of Art invites the community to celebrate the holiday season and support local art students at the Student Holiday Art Show Friday, December 6, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Concept Studios.

The event will take place during the City of Youngstown’s Holiday Parade, Christmas Tree Lighting, and Flea on Phelps Celebration, offering visitors an opportunity to explore downtown Youngstown and discover unique artwork created by talented YSU students.

This one-night art show will showcase a diverse collection of authentic and original artwork available for purchase. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse handcrafted pieces, including jewelry, paintings, prints, and much more.

In addition to the show, visitors can enjoy the Youngstown Flea on Phelps starting at 4:00 PM on Central Square, watch the Holiday Parade beginning at 6:00 PM, witness the Christmas Tree Lighting at approximately 7:15 PM, and explore the YSU student artwork throughout the evening at the nearby Concept Studios location.

Concept Studios is located at 217 W. Federal Street, Youngstown, OH. Entry to this event is free and open to the public.
