YSU Dana Symphony Orchestra to perform “The Planets”

Under the direction of conductor Michael Butler, the YSU Dana Symphony Orchestra will perform “The Planets” Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 7:30 PM in the Powers Auditorium of the DeYor Performing Arts Center in downtown Youngstown, Ohio.
“The Planets” is a seven-movement orchestral suite composed by Gustav Holst in the early 20th century. Each movement of the suite is named after a planet of the solar system and its connected astrological character. In the final movement, the orchestra is joined by a wordless female chorus.
Admission to the concert is free.
