YSU Alumni Lecture Series to welcome musician Jason Moncrief (B.M., ’02)

The YSU Alumni Lecture Series is set to welcome musician Jason Moncrief for a virtual lecture and presentation Thursday, November 12, at 7:00 PM.
Moncrief graduated from YSU in 2002 with a Bachelor of Music in tuba and flute performance. He currently serves as an associate for both the New World Symphony and the Chicago Civic Orchestra on tuba. He is also the principal flute for the Center Stage Opera in California and the principal flute and associate conductor of the New York City Renaissance Chamber Collaborative.
Moncrief’s presentation is titled “Carving a New Performance Path: The Modern Day Performer.” It will be available to view here.
