YSU Wind Ensemble to perform at Cleveland Orchestra’s Severance Hall

The YSU Wind Ensemble will perform at the prestigious Severance Hall January 29, 2023 at 5:00 PM for the 19th annual Northeast Ohio Band Invitational. Home of the Cleveland Orchestra, the event invites four high school programs and one collegiate ensemble to perform at the event each year alongside the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony.

During their performance at one of the world’s finest concert halls, the YSU Ensemble will perform works by composers such as Samuel Barber, Benjamin Horne, Henry Fillmore, Arthur Sullivan, Steve Danyew, and Arturo Márquez. Other artists performing at the invitational include Rocky River High School, Nordonia High School, Firelands High School, and St. Edward High School. Performances will feature a variety of music written for woodwinds, brass, and percussion instruments, while some schools may also choose to feature their outstanding vocalists.
