Voices of YSU records virtual performance of “Rise Up” by Andra Day

The Dana School of Music’s ensemble Voices of YSU, under the direction of associate professor of music Daniel Keown, recorded a virtual performance of Andra Day’s song “Rise Up” Monday, November 16.
Voices of YSU is comprised of a diverse number of student voices. As part of the ensemble, students have the ability to take on leadership roles and create their own music. The ensemble also collaborates with numerous other artists and musicians in order to meet the academic and social goals of its students.
