Youngstown State University’s Marching Pride has announced that its “Meet the Marching Pride” event will return to Stambaugh Stadium Friday, August 23, at 3:00 PM.

Under the leadership of Kate Ferguson, director of athletic bands, the Marching Pride has used the summer months to prepare for this event. Comprised of students from every college on campus, the Marching Pride will highlight its drumline, featured twirlers, Penguinettes, Color Guard, and more performers. Attendees will be treated to a preview of the music that will be performed by the Marching Pride at YSU football games this season.

“The YSU Marching Pride is thrilled to return to the field and share our hard work and passion with the community,” Ferguson said. “We are committed to delivering a performance that showcases the talent and dedication of our students while fostering the YSU spirit and community pride.”

Entry to the event is free and open to the public. Parking for the event is available for a nominal fee in the M-81 parking lot across from the Watson and Tressel Training Site, next to Stambaugh Stadium. The west stands of the stadium will be available for attendees to use.
