YSU Wind Ensemble to join Music at Noon series

The Dana School of Music’s popular Music at Noon series will return this semester with an outdoor concert performed by the YSU Wind Ensemble Thursday, October 8, at 12:00 PM at the Harrison Field Common.
Directed by associate professor of music Michael Butler, the ensemble is the premier concert band in the Dana School of Music and is comprised of Dana’s top wind and percussion students. Among their many talents, the ensemble performs contemporary literature and standard repertoire to ensure all students are exposed to numerous different kinds of music.
Physical distancing will be enforced, and face coverings are required. Patrons are encouraged to bring a chair, blanket, and snacks to enjoy the performance.
