Dana Chorale to premiere fall concert “. . . How Can I Keep from Singing?”

The Dana Chorale will premiere their fall concert titled “. . . How Can I Keep from Singing?” Friday, November 13, at 7:00 PM on the Cliffe College of Creative Arts’ YouTube channel.
The chorale, directed by associate professor of music Hae-Jong Lee, will perform music by Thomas Tallis, Francisco F. Feliciano, Elaine Hagenberg, Jake Runestad, Dolly Parton, and Kirby Shaw. The concert will also feature accompaniment by pianist Kathy Miller.
Featured soloists at the concert will include Emily Gerak, Madeleine Schreffler, Jaelynn Mack, and Marlina Karimi. A trio consisting of Gerak, Mack, and Sierra McCorvey will also perform.
The recording will include edited segments from both the recent joint performance with the Busan Teacher’s Choir that premiered Saturday, October 24, at the virtual Busan Choral Festival & Competition, and also from the 2019 spring Dana Chorale concert that premiered April 4, 2019.
The performance will be available to view for free.
