The Cliffe College Career and Professional Development Series is here to help you seamless blend your unique academic and professional journeys. We’ll show you how to leverage the in-demand skills and abilities you’ve developed through your degree program to design a life and career you’ll love.

Located on the 2nd floor of Bliss Hall, Office 2323, Dean’s Office, our Career Coordinator is dedicated to your success and ready to assist you with everything you need to prepare for your amazingly bright future. This is a place to discover, dream, plan your next steps, and more.  

 

Our services

Beginning in your first semester, we’ll provide a variety of services for you during each year of your time at YSU. To get you started, schedule an appointment to visit with our Career Coordinator. Are you a little further along? Attend our workshops and learn more about career exploration and job and internship opportunities. Ready to search for a job or apply to graduate school? Polish up your résumé, participate in mock interviews, auditions, and networking events, or attend career fairs.

YSU’s Office of Career Exploration and Development also offers more perks, and we encourage you to take advantage of those opportunities.  

 

Drop into the office

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Bliss Hall) 
Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Jones Hall, Room 2002)

During fall and spring semesters, drop into the office with your career-related questions, browse jobs and internships, work on application materials, and more.

Elevate your profiles with a free, professional headshot. Cliffe College Program Coordinator of Strategic Communications schedules these each semester. Check your e-mail regularly and be sure to reserve a time.
