Two student exhibitions to conclude McDonough Museum’s 2019 season

The McDonough Museum of Art will conclude its 2019 exhibition season with two new exhibits featuring the work of Department of Art students beginning Friday, November 22 through Saturday, December 14.

The “Fall Graduating B.F.A. Exhibition” will celebrate the work of a dozen students graduating with bachelor’s degrees in the areas of photography, graphic + interactive design, and interdisciplinary studio art. Students participating in the exhibit include Manuel Esparra, Jayde Faustino, Sarah Gage, Mallory Goldner, Kayla Haywood, Haley Holt, Abigail Martin, Justine Mitcham, Nicholas Perry, Carly Redmond, Rachael Repko, and Elizabeth Skeels.

The “M.F.A. First Year and Collaborative Project Exhibition” will feature works by Venise Abell, Karen Fisher, Kerrianne Ghinda, Chanda Weigel, and Evie Zimmer, who are first- and second-year students in the Department of Art’s graduate interdisciplinary visual arts program.

A reception for the exhibits will be held November 22 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the museum. Entry to the reception and the exhibits is free. The museum is open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.
