Greg Moring is a contemporary sculptor and artist whose creative focus is on public works of art. His work seeks to embody universal concepts that can establish a sense of place within the public environment. The final site-specific sculpture is typically the result of civic discourse, creative collaboration, public placement, and communal accessibility.
Greg has exhibited work in the United States and abroad and completed numerous public art works. His clients included the Baltimore City Hospitals, City of Baltimore, City of Rockland, Maryland Mass Transit Administration, Baltimore Convention Center, Montgomery County in Maryland, Nottingham Properties Inc, MD, Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Roland Park Middle School in Maryland and Youngstown State University.
In 2021, Greg Moring retired as Associate Dean of Cliffe College of Creative Arts and recently returned to Youngstown State University as the Acting Chair of the Department of Art. He resides and maintains a studio in Hubbard, Ohio.
