Current Theatre Students

Application process for current Theatre students

Apply to another Theatre program as a current Theatre student.

These procedures are for current Theatre undergraduate students who wish to apply to a new undergraduate theatre degree program. For example:

  • B.F.A. in Theatre to B.F.A. in Musical Theatre

Students who would like to add a new Audio + Music Production, Performance, or Education degree to their current degree must also follow these procedures.

Step 1

Complete the Internal Theatre Supplemental Application by December 1. Select the application for your program that lists "Internal." For your letter of recommendation, list your major teacher or advisor's email.

Step 2

Complete an audition for the new program. All auditions must be completed by February 21.

Additional application information

You should expect an admissions decision from us no later than April 1. The enrollment response date for undergraduate students is May 1.

Assignment of students to applied voice teachers is made by the department chair in consultation with the area coordinator and applied instructor. Requests for a change of teacher should be addressed to the Director in writing. To the extent possible, a student's choice of applied teacher will be taken into consideration, but the final assignment resides with the Director.

It is possible for students to be admitted for the spring semester admission.  If you are interested, please contact the Cliffe College Coordinator of Admissions and Recruitment.
