Music Performance

Program overview

In the Dana School of Music, our programs are designed to support and further the goals of students who aspire to careers as performers—like you. As a performance major, you’ll work with our expert faculty to further develop and hone your skills in one of the following areas: Brass, Percussion, Piano, Strings, Voice, Woodwinds. Our comprehensive curricula and performance opportunities develop artistic excellence, inspire innovation, and empower leadership and will help you gain a competitive edge for the next stage of your professional career!

Where you’ll perform

 

You’ll have access to numerous world-class stages and studios. You’ll perform in a variety of exquisite and historic spaces, ranging from an intimate 300-seat hall to a more-than-2,300-seat performance venue for large-scale productions. You’ll also give concerts and recitals in experimental venues, a Black Box Theater, museums, and other nontraditional settings.

•2.0 GPA Minimum

•TOEFL: 67/IELTS: 6.0/DET: 95

•Transcript required

 

Total estimated tuition for one academic year of study (9 months - based on 12-18 credit hours)

•3.0-3.39 GPA equivalent::

$1,000 annually

•3.4-3.69 GPA equivalent:

$2,500 annually

•3.7 GPA and above equivalent:

$4,000 annually

•Documented rank of first in class:

$5,000 annually
