How Can I Keep from Singing?

Dana Chorale

“…How Can I Keep from Singing?” is the title of the upcoming fall choral concert presented by the Dana Chorale on Friday, November 13, 2020, 7:00 PM.

The concert will be recorded at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown, OH and premiere on the Cliffe College YouTube Channel.

The Dana Chorale, directed by Hae-Jong Lee, with piano accompaniment by Kathy Miller, will perform music by Thomas Tallis, Francisco F. Feliciano, Elaine Hagenberg, Jake Runestad, Dolly Parton and Kirby Shaw.

Some special parts of the concert include edited segments from the recent joint virtual choir with Busan Teacher’s Choir that premiered on October 24, 2020 in the Busan Choral Festival & Competition Virtual Choir Festival https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be1ZbTYuJcU&feature=youtu.be and from the 2019 spring choral concert on April 4, 2019.

Featured soloists are Emily Gerak, Madeleine Schreffler, Jaelynn Mack and Marlina Karimi, while the trio of Gerak, Mack and Sierra McCorvey will also perform.
