Headshot of Avery

"As a student in the Dana School of Music, I received a lot of hands-on and real-world experience. I assisted in recording concerts and performances, taught bass lessons through YSU's String Project, and performed extensively. Something that's really great about the Audio and Music Production program is that students are required to complete an internship as part of the curriculum."

Devin Zerjav (B.M., ’24), majored in Audio + Music Production at the Dana School of Music and will pursue a Master of Science in Audio Engineering at Belmont University in fall 2024.

Production environment to expand your skills

Audio + Music Production students utilize Protools, Logic, Ableton, and other Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), learn how to manipulate various microphones and plugins, and more. You’ll collaborate with our talented students and world-class faculty, get hands-on experience working in our outstanding rehearsal and performance spaces, and have multiple opportunities to create professional recordings in our Dana School of Music Recording Studio.
