Summer Learning Experiences Available with YSU ADMETE

Great things are happening in the College of STEM.

The YSU ADMETE is a multifaceted grant that seeks to build an ecosystem that will produce more graduates who are suited to work in microelectronics. Since our last edition of the newsletter, our ADMETE Outreach Coordinator created partnerships with community organizations who serve K-12 students during the summer to offer exciting presentations. Microelectronics is not a new concept though it is less known in our community. The College of STEM has incredible students who ground the topic in concrete examples that they demonstrate through the sharing of their research. The amazing team of student presenters are as follows:

  • Muneer Barnawi
  • João Garretto
  • Kristen Grunden
  • Anthony Messuri
  • Elizabeth Panic
  • Ronald (RJ) Yarwood

These students are simply incredible and the heartbeat of our summer outreach experiences! The photos found HERE(link is external) are a result of new partnerships with the YSU Excellence in Training Center and the YSU Upward Bound Office. Shawntae and the students have a growing list of engagements planned for this summer. Please feel free to contact Shawntae(smburton@ysu.edu) for an opportunity to work with K-12 learners in the Valley!
