The YSU e-Human Powered Vehicle Challange(e-HPVC) team competed on April 12-13th at Liberty University against 15 other teams from other universities from the US, Canada, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico. 

The team placed 3rd in Design and 1st in both Safety and Analysis, leading to 4th overall. They built a recumbent trike with a frame entirely made from carbon fiber.

Our e-HPVC team is made up of six mechanical engineering seniors who did this as their senior design project. The team members are: Sean Armold, Jacob Brundrett, Matthew Fabian, Joshua Gray, Peyton Mann, and Kristopher McCowin.

This is the first year in over two decades that YSU has competed! Thank you to the e-HPVC team for representing YSU!
