Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Admission Requirements

The Department of Health Professions admits students to the Dental Hygiene Program once per year for Spring Semester registration.

Admission to the University provides students with the opportunity to complete a core of pre-dental hygiene courses after which they may apply and compete for a position in the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene (BSDH) Program.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited clinical capacity and available resources, admission to the University and completion of the pre-dental hygiene courses does not guarantee admission. The YSU Dental Hygiene Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
