YSU STEM Participates in Early Genius STEM Program

YSU STEM participated in the Early Genius Program, organized by KTSDI and Stadium Drive Elementary in Boardman, Ohio. YSU, along with area STEM-related businesses, provided hands-on activities to demonstrate STEM concepts. "KTSDI’s continued purpose, not only at Stadium Drive Elementary, but in the community as a whole, is to expose children at a young age to the basic concepts of STEM," said Angel Estok, worker for KTSDI. "We want to plant the seed early at a K through 4th grade level." KTSDI is a company is North Lima, OH that deals with various STEM aspects in the workforce. The entire Stadium Drive Elementary School with over 400 students in grades K-4 attended the event. Below are the companies that participated and the activities that each company ran: Home Depot and Sam's Club also participated in the event by providing donations.
