A successful research collaboration grew out of the Williamson-Watanakunakorn STEM Summer Research Internship Program, which supported 12 area high school students in conducting research last summer.

Students Audrey and Aiden worked for 7 weeks with Dr. Michael Crescimanno, Professor of Physics, on their research. After completing the project, the team submitted their manuscript, "Rubidium isotope shift measurement made simple," to the American Journal of Physics. Following peer review and revisions, the paper has now been accepted for publication.

The journal's editors noted that the reviewers believe the manuscript "will make a valuable contribution to AJP," with one reviewer offering additional suggestions that further strengthened the final publication.

Congratulations to Audrey, Aiden, and Dr. Crescimanno on this outstanding achievement and on contributing new research to the physics community.
