Group Biography

Dr. Fresh Butter was formed in late winter 2010 by Dave Lynn, Dustin May and Tim Wilderoder. The goal of the trio was and still is to create music that appeals to two unique audiences, fans of jam bands and fans of jazz and fusion music. Through experimentation and performing the group created a new, unique ensemble sound. In the summer of 2011 the group sought an addition to their sound and added Mitch Lawrence on saxophones. The quartet still seeks to create expression of emotion, rhythm, irony, etc. through fusion music that will appeal to a broad range of audiences.
