05-08-1979 Math Seminar
The department of mathematical and computer sciences is holding a seminar entitled, "The Math in High School You'll Need in College", 2-4 PM, Thursday, May 10, in Kilcawley Center, Room 236.
The seminar is designed for area high school mathematics teachers and guidance counselors and is free and open to the public.
Topics to be included in the math program are: "Perspectives", "Mathematical Education", and "Mathematics Needed for Calculus". Program speakers include: Dr. Dean R. Brown, chairman, YSU mathematics and computer sciences department; and three YSU associate professors of mathematics and computer sciences, Dr. Joseph Atlinger, Leland W. Knauf and Dr. J. Douglas Faires.
