Stipends For Out-of-Area Interns

The Anderson Program in Journalism has summer stipends available to assist with living expenses for students who are awarded internships out of the Mahoning Valley.

To apply for one of these stipends, please submit proof that you have received the internship along with a letter explaining where you will be living and estimates of how much you believe it will cost you to live there.

Your letter should be as detailed as possible. If you will be receiving a salary from the internship, please include that salary. Additionally, please include the length of time you will be working at the internship.

Finally, please include a specific dollar amount for how much money you are requesting. Awards range from $250 to $5,000.
